TATA KELOLA GEREJA DI ABAD 21 – KASUS GEREJA GPDI SEKINAH TELUKDALAM

Abstract

The Church certainly has management or governance that leads to the building up of the body of Christ.  The events of Pentecost and the teachings of the apostles were the beginning of the establishment of the early church to form the Church.  So that the Church as the essence of the body of Christ reflects unity and diversity in the congregation.  This is what makes the Church experience growth in teaching, pastoral care, self-reliance and rapid development.  Therefore, the Church developed modernity in world history.  It is this influence that leads to changes in lifestyle and local communities in relieving individuals from these pressures. This happened to the Pentecostal Church in Indonesia (GpdI) Sekinah in Telukdalam as a Church that developed in the local context.  The church was established by a servant of God, doing teaching, to sending servants of God to various regions.  Therefore, the church is an important community shaping and guiding individuals toward spiritual growth and eternal salvation.  The case study of GPdI Sekinah shows that the church is growing and plays a key role in shaping a community or local society.
