Perspektif William Barkley Terkait Dengan Kepemimpinan Dan Pekerja Gereja Sebagai Landasan Dalam Membangun Kinerja Pelayan Khusus
Abstract
special servant leadership (Pelsus) in the Evangelical Christian Church in Minahasa (GMIM) is a form of leadership rooted in the spirit of Christian service and Reformed theology. Pelsus, consisting of Elders and Deacons, are selected from the congregation to serve voluntarily and are responsible for the spiritual, social, and administrative services of the local church. This study aims to explain the concept of Pelsus GMIM leadership based on theological understanding, church organizational structure, and practical implementation in the context of congregational life. This study aims to explore the concept of leadership in Barclay's thinking with a descriptive-theological approach. The results of the study indicate that leadership in Barclay's perspective is transformative, demanding personal integrity, loyalty to Christ, and a commitment to selfless service. This concept is relevant not only in the context of the church, but also in the practice of Christian leadership in society
