Paradigma Misi Riedel Dan Schwarz Melalui Prespektif Paulus Serta Implikasinya Bagi Pertumbuhan Gereja Masa Kini

Abstract

This paper discusses the Mission Paradigm of Johann Gottlieb Schwarz and Johann Friedrich Riedel through the perspective of Paul and its implications for the growth of the contemporary church. Church life cannot be separated from evangelism, as evangelism is an essential part of the church. Without pastoral evangelism, the church loses its wholeness. Drawing on Paul’s evangelistic example, this study highlights that the ministries of Schwarz and Riedel in Minahasa reflect evangelistic patterns consistent with Paul’s missionary principles. The legacy of Schwarz’s evangelism remains alive in the tradition of the GMIM Schwarz Sentrum Langowan Church, while Riedel’s evangelistic heritage continues to shape the life of the GMIM Sentrum Tondano Church. This research employs a qualitative approach by observing the historical context and church practices to demonstrate the continuity of this mission.
