Orang Kristen dan Pedofilia: Menerapkan Konseling Alkitabiah Kepada Orang Kristen Yang Berjuang Melawan Pedofilia
Abstract
This abstract addresses the urgency and complexity of pastoral care for victims of pedophilia, a crucial issue that requires a holistic and sensitive approach. Child sexual abuse causes profound trauma that affects all aspects of the victim’s life—psychological, emotional, social, and spiritual—often continuing into adulthood. Pastoral care in this context goes beyond spiritual support alone; it must include multidimensional healing that integrates theological, psychological, and sociological perspectives. The primary focus of pastoral care is to create a safe space for victims to process their pain, guilt, and confusion, while reaffirming their worth and dignity as God’s creation. This involves empathic listening, validation of experiences, and affirmation of unconditional divine love. The ultimate goal is to help victims find healing, reconciliation with themselves and God, and empowerment to live full and meaningful lives..
