Abstract

Pastoral care is one of the main functions of a church ministry, especially in developing and nurturing people. This study examines drug addicts of all ages who have been exposed to free association in a Class IIA Prison. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, involving observation, interviews, and literature study. This study confirms that personalized moral guidance from the inmates remains relevant in the modern era and has great potential in building spiritual life. The results of the study show that direct pastoral care in the prison institution Class in Manado has a significant impact on the spiritual growth of the prisoners, as can be seen from the increaesd involvement in worship everyday.
