This research discusses the understanding and application of dogma and doctrine to a university, especially the Imanuel Telukdalam Theological College (SETITEL). This research is useful in avoiding errors and uncertainties in teaching theology to students. This understanding is conveyed so that teaching is delivered correctly. The difference between dogma and doctrine explains the difference in meaning, but relates to both. Where dogma is an authoritative conclusion that binds a number of people, while doctrine is a teaching that is given by scripture and is inviolable. The application of dogma and doctrine is formed in several parts: God, man, sin, Christ, the Holy Spirit, Angels, the Church, salvation and the last days. So that these parts will be grouped into several parts in courses at SETITEL. The results of this study provide deeper insight into the differences and applications of dogmas and doctrines in religious contexts, especially in theological education at the Immanuel Telukdalam Theological College. A proper understanding of dogma and doctrine enables people and students to accept teachings correctly, avoid misinterpretations, and develop a strong foundation of faith.

Ruang lingkup penelitian ini adalah studi tentang hubungan efektivitas pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 3 Dharma Caraka terhadap pendidikan agama kristen (PAK)dengan menggunakan pendekatan cara belajar siswa aktif (CBSA) Kabupaten Nias Selatan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji hubungan efektivitas pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 3 Dharma Caraka terhadap pendidikan agama kristen (PAK) dengan menggunakan pendekatan cara belajar siswa aktif (CBSA) Kabupaten Nias Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda untuk mengetahui hubungan kausal satu variabel independen dengan dua variabel dependen dengan menggunakan data primer berupa hasil angket tentang hubungan efektivitas pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 3 Dharma Caraka terhadap pendidikan agama kristen (PAK) dengan menggunakan pendekatan cara belajar siswa aktif(CBSA) Kabupaten Nias Selatan.

The results of the study illustrate that the principal's leadership supports activities that support all activities carried out by the principal, is sociable, easy to accept subordinates' opinions and is able to provide changes in the school environment, by monitoring, assessing activities carried out in schools, being able to provide changes to produce quality graduates. and make the school that is led into a paporit school that the surrounding community and the principal can be used as friends for school residents when there are school members who face problems, teachers do not feel shy or embarrassed to ask questions and explain the problems they face.

This study aims to analyze the understanding of the congregation at GMIM Kristus Ongkaw Dua, Sinonsayang District, regarding remarriage after divorce, as well as the role of the Church in providing theological and pastoral guidance. The background of this research lies in the tension between the Church’s teachings, which emphasize the sanctity of marriage, and the social reality marked by increasing cases of divorce and remarriage. This study employs a qualitative-descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews and observations. The findings indicate that social, theological, and practical factors influence the congregation’s attitudes toward this phenomenon. The Church is expected to uphold biblical principles while remaining relevant to the dynamics of the congregation. This research highlights the importance of a contextual and empathetic pastoral approach.

The rise of digital technology has significantly impacted church life, including worship practices. The use of smartphones in worship has become common, though not always positively perceived by congregants. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of smartphone use in worship and its influence on the spiritual growth of the GMIM Sion Tumaluntung congregation. Using a qualitative approach and interviews, the findings reveal that some church members view smartphones as disruptive to the sanctity of worship. However, through the lens of digital theology as proposed by Elizabeth Drescher, digital tools can foster relational and contextual expressions of faith. This study highlights the need for digital spiritual literacy so that the church can engage meaningfully in the digital era without compromising core Christian spirituality.

This study aims to explain the concept of Pelsus GMIM leadership based on theological understanding, church organizational structure, and practical implementation in the context of congregational life. This study aims to examine the extent to which youth understanding of the meaning of worship plays a role as a foundation in building their faithfulness in worship in the neighborhood of GMIM Kharisma Buha Congregation. The background of this research is based on the decline in youth activeness in worship. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results showed that youth understand worship as an obligation that must be carried out, but the meaning is still limited. This study recommends the importance of contextual and relevant approaches in youth development in order to create a strong understanding and growing faithfulness in worship life.

The doctrine of humanity as the image and likeness of God (imago Dei) is a foundational theological concept that shapes human identity, relationship with God, and interaction with others. This study explores the understanding and application of the imago Dei doctrine within the GMIM Zaitun Palelon Congregation in the Modoinding Region. Rooted in Genesis 1:26–27 and Calvin theology, humans are created to reflect God's character spiritually, intellectually, and morally, and are called to live in holy and harmonious relationships. However, in practice, the congregation faces challenges such as conflict, pride, and a lack of respect for others, indicating a weak embodiment of this doctrine. By reinforcing awareness of being made in God's image, the congregation is expected to restore social relationships, cultivate love, and live in alignment with God's original design—just as it was in the Garden of Eden.

This study aims to examine Marie Claire Barth’s theological perspective and its relevance in enhancing the religiosity of patchouli farmers. Barth developed a contextual theological approach that emphasizes life experience and social justice as part of Christian faith expression. Using a descriptive-qualitative method through literature study and field interviews, the findings show that Barth’s theology fosters spiritual awareness and social solidarity among farmers. In the context of patchouli cultivation, this approach encourages grounded and liberative faith reflection, motivating farmers to view their work as a divine vocation. Consequently, their religiosity is not limited to formal worship but is expressed in labor and social relationships that embody Gospel values. This study recommends strengthening contextual theology in empowering farming communities.

Eksploitasi alam sering di jumpai di era sekarang ini. Seiring meningkatnya kebutuhan manusia, maka bertambah juga kerusakan alam yang terjadi. Agama merupakan suatu sistem kepercayaan manusia dan di dalamnya terdapat ajaran tentang nilai-nilai kebaikan untuk di praktekan dalam kaitannya dengan ekoteologi. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pencemaran lingkungan yang diakibatkan oleh hadirnya PT. PGE Lagendong khususnya di Kelurahan Pangolombian, Kecamatan Tomohon Selatan, Sulawesi Utara melalui perspektif ekoteologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sumber daya alam yang kurang tepat dan kurangnya kesadaran akan penggunaan kekayaan alam, mengakibatkan pencemaran lingkungan yang berdampak terhadap keberlangsungan hidup manusia dan lingkungan.

Pastoral care is one of the main functions of church ministry, especially in shepherding and fostering the faith of the congregation. This study examines the performance of special ministers in house-to-house pastoral accompaniment on the growth and development of the congregation's faith in GMIM Kharisma Buha Manado Region Mapanget Tumpa. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, involving observation, interviews, and literature study. This study confirms that personalized and direct pastoral care remains relevant in the modern era, and has great potential in building the spiritual life of the congregation.The results showed that house-to-house pastoral care contributes significantly to the faith growth of the congregation, as seen from the increased involvement in worship and congregational fellowship. In addition, this practice strengthens the relationship between congregants and specialized ministers, creating a more personalized attachment within the church community

This involves emphasizing comprehensive catechesis, creating a relevant and inclusive worship environment, and emphasizing the importance of personal discernment and repentance as preparation for receiving the sacrament.
